Pennsylvania Attendance Summit

We’re excited to announce the Pennsylvania Attendance Summit on December 8th 2021.  The Attendance Summit is designed to bring together K12 educators, policy makers, and community members who support student attendance to talk through, describe and share their professional roles in supporting student attendance.  The summit will refresh the conversation and lead to a new framework for PA regarding student attendance and engagement in learning, as the state continues to recover from the pandemic.  The Attendance Summit will be able to be attended live or virtually.

The event will be keynoted by Phyllis Jordan, Associate Director at Future-Ed, a thought leader on student absenteeism, with notable works including Present Danger: Solving the Deepening Student Absenteeism Crisis and the Attendance Playbook.

We hope that many of you will be able to share insight through our many breakout sessions, to help others understand how you support student attendance.

Registration and requests to present can be done through a single form: https://forms.gle/qhy3FcFFV73JKaWq7
